A Day of Om Chanting with Defi
Suddenly, Defi took me to her event in Uluwatu, where a woman from the Czech Republic was hosting a retreat for her people. I felt that the place and environment had a good vibe. Before guiding the Om chanting, Defi explained that it is a practice for cleansing oneself. She also shared that she had previously led Om chanting sessions for groups with diverse religious and spiritual backgrounds, emphasizing that each person's process is unique, depending on their lifestyle. Our session lasted only 30 minutes, but it was incredibly intense and profound. Within the first 10 minutes of closing my eyes, I started seeing vivid visuals that rarely surface in my subconscious. I saw glowing tarot cards with a blue circle in the center...
Then, images of historical places appeared, resembling ancient Egyptian or Moroccan civilizations, with vast deserts and intriguing structures. I also saw an image of the queen of the Southern Sea, a dragon in shades of blue and green with an oceanic background, and an animated Pegasus with an elegant presence, among many other visions. After the session ended, one of the participants mentioned seeing a dragon as well, and the group started discussing Kundalini energy. Everyone had different visions and sensations during Om chanting. Afterward, I immediately searched online for the images I had seen in my subconscious. The meaning of the symbols.

After that, suddenly, Defi said, "Maybe she wants a tarot reading." She was referring to the woman hosting the retreat. As usual, I bring my tarot and oracle deck for a conclusion in the end of the reading. She asked about personal matters-her travel plans, project process, family, and even mentioned something about a beauty business. During the reading, I sensed potential for a new audience in the future for her. And the conclusion of the reading for her was that she needs to complete her priorities first before moving on to other things. She also needs to observe the situation slowly and carefully, so that the process unfolds steadily. Then, she took a photo of all the tarot cards that came up for her. I told her that she could also look up the true meanings of the tarot cards from the internet as inspirations.
Interestingly, when we returned home from the event, Defi played a video called “12 Steps Spiritual Awakening” from the Spiritual Manifestation YouTube channel. We watched it while reflecting on ourselves. Defi also shared insightful teachings from Rumi, Dandapani, and Shi Heng Yi. Individuals with completely different style in sharing informations, and we can capture each power directly. Defi said I would rewatch them while taking notes. I responded, "Yes, this is sustenance for me."
The next day, after we went out, Defi said she needed to release something. So, I guided her through a releasing technique, a question-and-answer method to let go of unwanted thoughts, emotions, and energy from the mind, body, and soul. At the end of the session, I always ask, "How do you feel now?" She replied, "There's still something stuck in my chest." So, we repeated the process. When I asked again at the end, she said, "Now it feels light." As she lay there with her eyes closed still, I spontaneously played a feminine mantra audio. She really enjoyed it for meditation and she adjusted her hand position and settled into focus.
I'm grateful for all the new stories unfolding naturally in my life.
Being present is what matters most because I can never relive this moment. What's happening right now is a guidance. Sometimes, the real answers are right around you.
Thank you,
Aninda Juni
